Computer Basics for Seniors

Are you feeling overwhelmed by new technology? Would you like more tools to reach out to your community safely and effectively? Would you like to learn more about the Internet and how to use it? The Mentoring Plus Strategy and Dalhousie University College of Continuing Education are thrilled to offer a 5-week home computer training course, free of charge, for seniors (55+) in Nova Scotia.

This course will combine live virtual group lessons with independent online training to help improve social connections and enhance digital learning. This course will be taught by an experienced instructor from the College of Continuing Education at Dalhousie and a certificate will be provided to participants upon completion. Priority registration will be given to residents of Colchester, Kings and Pictou Counties. All remaining areas of Nova Scotia will be considered on a first come first serve basis as space allows.
